Meet Dr. Abby Paloma
I am a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, acupuncturist, herbalist, yoga teacher, meditator, gardener, local food advocate, cook and artist.
My classes and acupuncture practice are where my skills and interests come together in service of the health and healing of my students and patients. My specialties include, but are not limited to, women’s health, autoimmune conditions, digestive issues, orthopedic injuries and pain management.
Our time together is a collaboration. I meet my patients and students where they are on their health journey, and through acupuncture, herbs, food and lifestyle recommendations, I extend an invitation to each of them to harmonize and heal their whole selves.
Patient and student PRAISE
My weekly acupuncture sessions with Abby are the most honest and consistent self-care moments I have in my routine.

I had a huge breakthrough moment during Abby’s restorative training– I have a difficult time accessing states of relaxation, but during her class I found myself suddenly floating in outer space. In that moment I felt closer to infinity than I ever have. Abby’s teachings have been a truly amazing gift.
Sarah
Abby takes the time to understand the full me before a session. Her presence is calm and makes me feel safe. I am happy to open up and feel held the entire time during our sessions

The three days I spent in Abby’s restorative yoga training may have been the best of my entire year. It was such a confidence builder. I learned so much practically and logistically, but it was all imbued with so much spirituality, emotion, and heart. I left feeling grounded and motivated.
Alice York
Everyone could benefit from a few sessions with her.

Ms. Paloma’s restorative yoga training took me into poses that were so comforting and so supported that my chatter fell aside, and I was taken deep within, to a magical place, that I now know, I carry with me at all times.
Dave
Abby is one of the most intuitive and brilliant health care practitioners I have worked with in any capacity. I really love my evening sessions, after which I always have the best night’s sleep. A true gift.
Lynn H.
I had been experiencing symptoms of fatigue on and off for the last year. Abby’s training has helped me find real rest to allow my body to recover from too much activity, through supported postures and cues for the brain to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system.
Laura Cohen
Abby makes her practice spiritual while also bringing it down to an earthly and human level.
Ruth Karasik
This training was one of the most valuable I have experienced–not only for myself as a teacher, but for myself as a person. I left with a better understanding of the human nervous system and the dire need for rest, as well as a toolkit for helping myself and others into restful, restorative poses that act as medicine for our modern lifestyle.

Working with Abby completely removed my menstrual pain and mood changes. I can’t tell you how empowering it is not to blame my period for my feelings.
Anita M.
Abby’s restorative training is a deeply nurturing experience for both students and instructors. It’s comprehensive and highly educational. As a women’s health specialist, I am seeing more women that suffer from hormonal imbalances and menstrual woes due to everyday stress. This training was an optimal experience to help enhance my private offerings in helping other women find healing and relief.

Abby will enrich your life and overall wellness in ways you can’t predict. If you’re looking to infuse your life with self-care, Abby is it.
Sofia A.
Abby’s restorative training has changed the way I move through the day. I’m more aware, present, and have better nights’ sleep.
Jeré Davis
I feel aligned and at home in my body each time I see Abby.
Kyla W.
Abby’s Restorative Yoga training offered a space to step back, reevaluate, surrender and contemplate. I now have a completely different relationship with time itself.
Evelyn Horan
Abby will change your life. Feeling sick? Go see her. Feeling pain? Go see her. Feeling wonky? Go see her.
Seth B.
I came to the training because I wanted to expand my skills as a teacher. I was not expecting such a shift in perspective on how I can adjust some of my personal practices, which will hopefully trickle down to my teaching style and philosophy in positive ways. While the technical skills covered in the training were comprehensive, the personal value to me was immense.
Jenn Brown
This woman is through and through a modern day HEALER. There is acupuncture and then there is Abby. Abby is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever been to.
R.D.
In a short weekend, these teachings have solidified my intention to always give myself permission to stop doing, to consciously rest. What exactly prompted this invaluable shift? The tangible experience of feeling held and safe, the discussion of shared struggles and breakthroughs, and the openness, curiosity, and dedication of those around me.
Emma Lesser
Working with Abby was a reminder of the beauty of our body’s brilliant evolutionary design.
