Blossom into Spring with an investment in your health and wellness! Join Dr. Abby Paloma, DACM in a four-part series that will guide you through living with the season in harmony.
This series will offer an intimate space to gather in the community, to practice, study and share. In each session, you will be guided in a movement, meditation, and breath practice inspired by the wisdom of Spring. In Chinese Medicine, the spring season corresponds with the wood element and is associated with growth, renewal, and realizing your potential. Spring is a time of new beginnings and also requires a good amount of trudging through the mud to reach new goals. Spring can be a time of awakening but can leave you feeling chaotic or overwhelmed. To counterbalance all the upward energies that spring “flings,” it is an important season to simplify your diet and detoxify with healing herbs to refocus your energy towards what you truly want to grow. Abby will teach you practices that ground you and keep your growth steady throughout spring.
This series is accompanied with an optional guided spring cleanse with the purchase of an additional herb package of teas and tinctures. Spring is the prime time for a full body cleanse after a long cold winter of eating heavier foods, sleeping more and hibernation. The food and herbal recommendations will offer a gentle cleanse and reset for the body.
Your presence in the group is an important part of the series and it is requested that you have no more than one absence. You will have access to the recorded Zoom session in case you have to miss a Sunday lecture.
